If you are an aficionado of one of Scotland's famous exports, the game of golf, then a visit to this part of the world is a must. The area of North-East Scotland comprising of Tayside and Fife has some of the most famous and challenging golf courses that can be found anywhere in the world. The Fort Hotel in Broughty Ferry is the ideal location for any golfing holiday, as well as "PUB CRAWLS" We are situated just 6 miles from the challenging Carnoustie Links, site of the 1999 Open Golf Championship, and only 12 miles across the Tay Bridge you can find the world famous Old Course at St Andrews, the home of golf and site of the 2000 Open Golf Championship. There are also plenty of other fine courses in the area, most of which are excellent value to play on.
